Uses: treats external parasitic infections in fish, kills protozoa, eliminates algae in fish ponds, eliminates bottom plants.
– In agriculture: kills mold, pests.
– In industry: copper plating.
– In medicine: disinfects, cleans houses; 0.3-1% CuSO4 solution used as eye medication; treats burns caused by phosphorus. In experiments: removes excess phosphorus in experimental solutions; water testing reagent: dry CuSO4 is white, hydrated CuSO4 is blue (CuSO4.5H2O).
Dosage and usage: dissolve CuSO4 in water, evenly sprinkle in ponds, dosage is calculated based on CuSO4.5H2O.
– Algae reduction: 0.2ppm in pond water
– To kill protozoa: 0.3ppm in pond water, kill bottom plants: 0.3-0.5ppm in pond water
– To treat external parasitic infections in fish: 0.5ppm in pond water
– To treat fungal infections on fish: 0.5ppm in pond water
– To treat fungal infections on skin: 2ppm bath for 10-30 minutes.
Note: only use once, repeat if necessary after 7 days. The medication is highly toxic, especially in soft water with low pH. Changing water is a necessary measure in case of poisoning.
